Another ISE has come and gone, and for the InGear team, the show represents one of the biggest events of the year. The beauty of ISE is that it combines both the pro AV and residential AV spaces, being a joint InfoComm and CEDIA tradeshow — the spaces that most of our clients play in. From a personal standpoint, I’ve been attending ISE since its second year in Brussels, and it’s been remarkable to see how it’s grown into the largest AV event in the world. more

CEDIA 2016 Wrap-Up: The Future Is Voice Control

Another CEDIA — the biggest home technology showcase of the year — has come and gone. For our residential brands, CEDIA is an annual opportunity to present their latest innovations to the professionals that install their gear. And this year, the show didn’t disappoint. According to CEDIA, attendance topped just over 18,750 attendees, included over 500 exhibitors, 115 CEDIA training sessions, 13 CEDIA Talks, and six free CEDIA panel sessions. Judging by the chatter, it’s safe to say this year’s show was a success, with attendees energized about future opportunities and a positive industry outlook.

January marked the New Year and with it came CES, which was the largest in history in terms of the increased number of exhibitors and attendees. A reported 2.47 million net square feet of exhibit space featured over 3,800 exhibitors with more than 170,000 industry professionals, including over 50,000 from outside the U.S. More than 6,000 members of the media were in attendance with social media momentum topping 1,278,870 mentions of the #CES2016 hashtag.
